1. Cases -   you must buy the right case for your motherboard as they come in different sizes. You can pay up to £150 or as little  as £20

2.   Power supply -   there are different ranges of power supplies, depending what you want to use your pc for. They range from £90 down to £10

3.     Fans -   the more you have, the better to keep your pc cool, especially in a heat wave from as   little as £2.99 to £199 for water cooled

4.   Coloured fans -   for the pc that has a window on the side from  £6.99

5. Motherboard -   there are loads of   boards to buy   some have onboard graphics for cheapness & you can update later, prices from £25

6. CPU -   the brains of the motherboard, make sure you get the right   CPU, there are different makes   Aphlon,Pentium etc   from £39

7. CPU paste -   you put this on the   CPU before you put the   CPU fan on.   It keeps moist, stops the pc fan being welded as the pcu gets hot

8. CPU Fan -   for keeping   your   CPU   cool, prices   from £6.99   and you can get water cooled   from £99

9.   Ram - comes in lots of sizes and speeds, prices start from £19. Make sure you get the right type of ram for your motherboard

10.   Hard drive -   you can get   IDE or SATA from 40gb to   infinity,   depends if your motherboard can take it. Prices from £40

11.   Fans -   for your hard drive, is a must if you keep your pc on most of the time, so it keeps as   cool as possible from £5

12. Graphic card -   a must   if you want to play games.   Prices start at £17. You must get the right   card for the games you want to play

13. Power supply -   Mains cable to   connect your   computer to the mains, from   £4.99

14. TFT flat screen monitors -   15" from £95.   Make sure you get 3 years guarantee.   Again there   are different pixels for gaming

15. Speakers -   there   are loads to choose from. Prices start at £5.99    

16. Keyboard -   from  £6. and mouse from £6. You can get wireless keyboards and infra-red mouse, prices from £25
